About Ms. Blumenthal-
Teaching Background: I have been a teacher at Taylor Elementary since 2006. I have taught first. second, and third grade. Prior to my time at Taylor, I taught in Fulton County for five years.
Education:
Bachelor of Arts, Elon University
Masters Degree, Early Childhood Education, Georgia State University
Specialist Degree, Curriculum and Instruction, Lincoln Memorial University
A little bit about your teacher: My son is a student at Taylor too. His interests take up most of my spare time. When I do have some time to myself, I enjoy reading and photography. (I have put some of my photography on this site.) These days, travel writing is what I find most interesting to read. I have traveled extensively and it remains a passion of mine. Sadly, I don’t get to travel as much as I used to, so I read about it! I have lived in three different countries and four different states but I consider Long Island, New York my home. I love to share my travel stories and souvenirs from around the world with my students. A little known fact about me is that I speak German fluently.
